From 8-12 August, President Li Zhanmin of JCHX went to Pulang Project to carry out a 5-day inspection and research on production and management of project department and gave full affirmation, and raised higher bar for next phase of work.
During the inspection and research, Deputy Manager of Project Department Yang Junhua and other relevant leaders briefed to President Li about the current production and management status of project department in detail, with the focus on the development of natural caving mining (mainly including mine toe blasting, ore accumulation trough blasting, caving law, stability of bottom structure, ore drawing control), implementation of production plan for the first half of this year, system construction, technical difficulties, problems in the production process and the solution for next step were reported. After being reported, President Li fully affirmed the achievements of the project department, and placed great expectations on the successful use of the natural caving method and the success of the next large-scale mining. At the same time, he raised a number of key tasks: first is to speed up the wrap-up of the No.3 bid package construction as soon as possible to enter project completion settlement to increase cash flow; second is to enhance site ventilation to do a good job in occupational health hazards prevention; third is to strengthen management of ore drawing and strictly implement the plan with work undertaken in details, and take advantage of automation and information to improve production efficiency. President Li specifically pointed out that talent training and staff stability is the priority among priorities for our work, and we should consider talents reserve of technical personnel in advance from both internal training and external introduction.
After listening to work report, President Li went into production level at 3720 mL and undercut drift at 3736 mL to investigate the undercut, the ore accumulation trough blasting, and ore removal, instructed specifically on-site performance of Sandvik 14t LHDs, mobile ore crushing plant by BTI, and Normet machines, ,clarified the key problems to be solved in the use of new equipment and the methods and measures to resolve these problems, and raised higher requirements for project department to put into use of new equipment.
During site visit, President Li also undertook communications with related leaders of the Client, visited their coordination and comprehensive control room.
