Mr. Wang Xiancheng, Chairman of JCHX Group, was invited to attend a series of top-level business exchanges in Beijing as a representative of Chinese enterprises during Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s official visit to China.
The official reception was held at the residence of the ambassador of Finland to China on the evening of January 25, with the attendance of representatives of Chinese enterprises that have been engaging in long-term cooperation with Finnish companies and senior executives from 20+ leading Finnish enterprises joining the official visit. Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, H.E. Jarno Syrjälä, Deputy Foreign Minister of Finland, and H.E. Mikko Kinnunen, Ambassador of Finland to China, delivered speeches respectively, expressing sincere greetings to representatives from industrial and business sectors of both countries and looking forward to expanding cooperation in innovation, high-end manufacturing, green and low carbon development and creating a brighter future together. During when, they held personal exchange with Mr. Wang.
The Sixth China-Finland Committee for Innovative Business Cooperation Meeting was co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland the next morning. It has been an important platform for enterprise communication and economic & trade exchange since its establishment in 2017. Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and H.E. Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce of China, made a speech at the closing ceremony. Witnessed by the attendees, a Letter of Intent was signed between Mr. Wang and Mr. Wen Yangzhi, VP of Greater China of Metso.
Finland is an important economic & trade partner of China as well as the first European country that singed inter-governmental trade agreement with China, and the cooperation between JCHX and Finnish enterprises can be traced back to 2016. Later in 2017, as a representative of Chinese enterprises specializing in mine services and development, JCHX joined hands with Normet, a globally renowned Finnish equipment manufacturer for UG mine and tunneling, and established Kingnor Mining Equipment Co., Ltd. Such fruitful result epitomizes the long-term and win-win cooperation among enterprises of the two countries in high-end equipment manufacturing and mining technology sectors, demonstrates the strengthening and deepening of the bilateral economic & trade relationship, and reflects the joint pursuit of technique innovation and market expansion, providing a valuable reference for Finnish enterprises to invest in China.
