Sandvik Group President and CEO Visits JCHX

On February 11, Mr. Stefan Widing, President and CEO of Sandvik Group and his team visited JCHX headquarters in Beijing, warmly welcomed by Mr. Wang Xiancheng, Chairman of JCHX Group, and Mr. Wang Cicheng, Executive Vice President of JCHX Mining. During when a consensus was reached on further deepening and widening the cooperation by signing a new global strategic cooperation agreement.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed their long-standing partnership since the Pulang Copper Mine project, with a special focus on the latest outcomes of the practical collaboration with the introduction of high-performance equipment and digital solutions for the Khoemacau project in Botswana. Chairman Wang presented JCHX's global footprint and development strategy, and recommended Sandvik to establish a training school for mine workers in Botswana.

Then Mr. Stefan Widing expressed his gratitude to JCHX for its longtime trust, while sharing the latest developments at Sandvik Group. He conveyed strong expectations for further deepening the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two parties and stated that Sandvik Group is committed to supporting the large-scale and high-efficiency mining operations at Khoemacau Copper Mine with high-standard products and comprehensive services, to support JCHX's ongoing globalization strategy and intelligent technology-driven transformation. He also pointed out that the recommendations by Chairman Wang will be carefully reviewed.

Following the meeting, Mr. Wang Cicheng and Mr. Mats Eriksson, President of Sandvik Group's Mining Business Area, signed the new Global Strategic Cooperation Agreement and the Letter of Intent for 2026 Procurement.

Accompanying the delegation were Ms. Cecilia Felton, Executive Vice President and CFO, Ms. Sofia Sirvell, Executive Vice President and CDO, Mr. Richard Harris, President of the Rock Processing Business Area, Ms. Nadine Crauwels, President of the Machining Business Area Segment, and Mr. Mattias Nilsson, President of the Intelligent Manufacturing Business Area Segment, among others.
