Work Description: Construction of Deep Shaft at Yinshan Copper Mine (Section I)

Yinshan Project locates in Dexing City, Jiangxi Province, where JCHX is tasked with technological upgrading for expansion in deep zone and pilot mining of 8000t/d project at Yinshan Copper Mine. During the sinking and lining of deep multi-function shaft, monthly sinking rate was over 100m for three consecutive months, and 100% satisfaction was achieved in terms of quality upon acceptance of works.
Mining process and technique were constantly optimized during pilot mining with long-hole drill & blast method, which laid a foundation for subsequent works. In Nov 2018, monthly production development surpassed 10000 m³ while monthly development with AA010 drilling jumbo reached 450.5m, breaking record.
In January 2019, shaft tower was completed with installation and equipping officially commenced for multi-function shaft at Yinshan Mine. On 20 June 2020, the ore passing and crushing facilities of multi-function shaft was accepted by the Owner with 100% satisfaction.
The designed capacity is 2.8mtpa, with the orebody accessed by decline and shaft. Sublevel open stoping with backfilling and shallow-hole shrinkage mining methods are applied. In 2023, JCHX was awarded the works of transiting from open pit mining to underground mining, with a designed capacity of 5000tpd, and the works are being carrying out smoothly.
