Project Overview & Historical Significance : Located in Zambia, the Chambishi Project is a cornerstone of JCHX’s overseas operations. On September 23, 2003, NFCA officially entrusted JCHX with the comprehensive underground construction and mining operations management of the Chambishi Copper Mine. This milestone marked JCHX’s capability to independently operate and manage a large-scale, fully mechanized trackless underground mine. The project currently oversees operations in both the Main Orebody  and the West Orebody .

Technical Specifications:

  • Design Capacity: 1.5 million tonnes per annum (1.5 Mtpa)

  • Development System: Combined shaft and decline development (竖井、斜坡道联合开拓)

  • Operational Scale:

    • Ore Extraction: 610,000 tonnes per annum (610,000 tpa)

    • Development Volume : 120,000 cubic meters per year

Mechanization & Equipment Fleet : The project company boasts a robust fleet of 150 units/sets of advanced mining engineering equipment. This includes state-of-the-art foreign trackless machinery such as LHD loaders, drill jumbos , mining trucks, and various auxiliary equipment. This highly mechanized fleet covers all operational phases, encompassing capital development, stope preparation, and ore stoping.
