Project Overview : Located in Bor, Serbia, the project operates within the Cukaru Peki Copper-Gold Mine, renowned as one of the world’s top ten high-grade, ultra-large copper-gold deposits.
Engineering Scope : The project functions as an independent development system. The primary scope of work encompasses:
No. 1 Intake Ventilation Shaft: Depth of 1,168m, net diameter of 7.5m.
No. 2 Return Ventilation Shaft: Depth of 1,147m, net diameter of 8.5m.
Underground Development: Including the extraction level, undercut level, return air level, auxiliary chambers, and stope preparation engineering.
Construction & Mining Methods : The construction is fully mechanized, utilizing advanced equipment such as drill jumbos, large LHDs (Load-Haul-Dump loaders), mining trucks, and hydraulic umbrella drills. Looking ahead, the project plans to adopt the block caving method to achieve large-scale mining extraction.
