Located in the Western Region of Ghana, Wassa is a large-scale operating gold mine featured by good ore property, comprising of mainly underground deposit with several scattered open pits. The mill capacity is 2.7 mtpa. The scope of work under the agreement includes underground mining at the 242 and southern extension, decline development for an estimated period of three years.
