Work Description: Contract Mining at Xitieshan Lead & Zinc Mine in Qinghai Province

Xitieshan Lead & Zinc Mine is located in Da Qaidam, Qinghai Province. The scope of work comprises of underground development (prospecting works included), mining production and ore extraction, mechanical and electrical installations, and backfilling. Large trackless equipment and machineries are utilized to promote mechanized, advanced and intelligent mining.
In January 2019, the Phase II Mining Contract was signed between Western Mining and JCHX for a period of three years and with a worth of CNY 425 million.
JCHX mainly undertakes underground development and support, mucking, and waste discharge. Mining works include mining cutting and support, long-hole drill, ore blasting, ore extraction by LHD, ores lifting and transportation to ROM silo of processing plant, backfill and other service works. In January 2023, JCHX entered into a contract with Western Mining Limited for the mining project (phase III) at Xitieshan Lead & Zinc Mine.
