Work Description: Chambishi Copper Mine Project

The scope of work includes mine construction, underground development and contract mining at Chambishi Copper Mine for NFCA, covering main ore body, west ore body, southeast ore body.

On September 23rd 2003, NFCA awarded the contract for all UG construction and mining operation at Chambishi to JCHX.

Currently more than 150 units/sets of highly mechanized and advanced equipment and machinery from first-tier suppliers such as Sandvik, Epiroc are utilized on site for underground development, mine construction, stoping, including LHDs, drilling jumbos, LPDTs, as well as utility vehicles. 

JCHX is responsible for the underground construction and production at Chambishi Copper Mine, with mining and processing capacity of 1.5 mtpa and application of shaft + decline development. It is currently managing the main mining area and the western mining area. The project is equipped with 150 sets of mine equipment and machineries, of which LHDs, jumbos, mine trucks and some other service equipment are all imported state-of-the-art trackless fleet.
