From February 11 to 14, the Work Conference for 2014 and 3rd Session of the First Worker’s Congress of JCHX were held in Jiuhua Resort & Convention Center, Beijing. Mr. Dadi Guo, Vice President, Chairman of Labor Union of JCHX presided over the conference, and it commenced in the exciting JCHX Anthem with the attendance of representatives from both home and abroad.
During the conference, Mr. Qinghai Wang, the Assistant President of JCHX gave work report titled Strengthening Safety & Quality Awareness, Deepening Management, Emphasizing Three Major Tasks & Endeavoring to Achieve The Production Target for 2014. Mr. Shizhou Yin, the CFO and Board Secretary, gave Financial Report. In the work report, it is pointed out that 2013 was a crucial year for great-leap-forward development and a year full of ordeals and challenges. Over the past year, despite of the ups and downs in domestic and international economy, market downturns, slumped mine product prices, through the leadership of Board of Directors, combining with the concerted effort from all units and employees, the company strengthened system management, improved site service, created harmonious work environment, stabilize workforce and actively promoted all kinds of works, finally achieved sustainable, healthy and stable development, based on the idea of three major tasks — “Overall Budget Planning, Internal Control, Project Standardization”.
Meanwhile the work report also proposed the working guideline for 2014, which is Strengthening Safety & Quality Awareness, Refining Management, Deepening and Improving Overall Budget Planning, Internal Control and Project Standardization, under the guidance of “Three Five-Year” Strategy. Through thoroughly promoting contracting management, fulfilling internal control, establishing long-term mechanism for standardization, carrying out overall budget planning, containing waste, implementing low cost strategy, increasing competitiveness; continuously enhancing workforce training and recruitment, supporting scientific and technological innovation; focusing on corporate culture construction, creating harmonious atmosphere and stabilize work team, finally to achieve great-leap-forward development.
The company called upon all the employees to share corporate values, shift their thoughts, define the goals, together work hard for achieving the target of 2014 and build JCHX as a “century-old brand” with firm faith, fighting spirit, steady pace, solid working ethic and strong sense of responsibility, under the leadership of the Board of Directors.
During the conference, a rewarding ceremony was also held to honor outstanding projects for standardization management and for overall achievement, as well as outstanding individuals including project managers and employees. The representative of outstanding projects and individuals delivered speeches and introduced their experiences respectively. Additionally, the signing ceremony for agreement of contract responsibility and safety production responsibility was held, relevant leaders from branches, subsidiaries and projects signed on the agreements on behalf of their units.
Mr. Xiancheng Wang, Board Chairman of JCHX gave important remarks in which he pointed out that all employees should stick to the “Three Five-Year” Strategy and working guideline for 2014, work together, enhance management and coordination, strengthen performance evaluation, deepen workforce construction, build corporate cultural brand, to achieve the targets.
The four-day conference was conducted smoothly and successfully with all expectations fulfilled, the attendees participated in group discussions and made arrangements for the next work.
Besides, the company organized annual speech competition with the theme of “Youth Responsibility Dream” and a celebration banquet for Lantern Festival. The wonderful speeches presented by contestants and great performance during the banquet made this annual conference even more attractive and excellent.
