After receiving the annual production and construction plan for 2016 from the Client, the management and technical staff in Chambishi Project organized a workshop to study the plan in details, during which the annual target was emphasized, strategies and methods decided. Mr. De Li, Deputy General Manager of JCHX Zambia restated the key production target, including 2.05 million tons of total production at main ore body and west ore body, with ore production of 1.48 mt and ore grade at 1.89% .
In order to achieve the above goals, Mr. Yunliang Ma required all managers and PICs to stick to the annual production plan and take all necessary measures, not only to ensure the target of one million ton production at west ore body, but also to build a model project out of southeast ore body.
To achieve the annual target, a series of strategies were set during the meeting. First of all, conduct monthly performance evaluation on ore grade to ensure monthly production plan is met and control dilution rate.Secondly, improve the work efficiency of all equipment. Thirdly, reasonably and timely apply ground support and improve quality. Fourthly, accelerate the construction and improvement of ore passing system and ventilation system. Fifthly, emphasize the importance of smooth-blasting method, enhance the work quality. Sixth, promote civilized construction while completing production. Seventh, Each section from all levels should come up with scientific and reasonable individual production plans for 2016.
