The installation works at the most complicated and deepest shaft in China commenced recently at Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, where Huize No.3 Shaft of Lead & Zinc Mine locates.
JCHX Mining Management Co Ltd (hereinafter referred to as JCHX), which is famous for constructing large complicated mine project, is the contractor for sinking and installation works of this shaft, JCHX has always combined technological innovation with work practice.
Through the introduction from Mr. Yongjun Yang, the Project Manager, we can see that JCHX has been working really hard and continuously breaking the daily and monthly construction records during sinking phase.It utilizes advanced equipment and technologies, well organized management to complete the project. Despite of all the difficulties, JCHX not only improved blasting efficiency but also shortened hoisting cycle and concrete lining cycle, conquered the challenge of big water flow and underground drainage system. Its amazing sinking record of over 100 meters per month for three consecutive months in such a deep shaft astonished both the client and other peers.
Construction of west ore body at Chambishi Copper Mine in Zambia was the first overseas project for JCHX. Due to the international background, the project depends largely on local workforce, with some expatriates as technical management staff. Because of this, the normal operation such as drilling and blasting became more difficult due to language and cultural barrier. After conducting a lot of researches and many experiments JCHX finally came up with an accurate blasting control technique to minimize the time error and eradicate the potential safety hazards.
Despite of the continued downturn in mining sector this year, JCHX won the bid for the largest underground block caving mine in China – Initial Mining Area at Pulang Copper Mine in Yunnan Province.
