On April 8th, all staff from Equipment Center had a meeting under the topic of “Start Anew” during which the “pragmatic, low-cost, efficient, promote development” approach was strengthened, previous works summarized, current problems in equipment management stressed, new targets set.
Mr. Weihao Zhu, General Manager of Equipment Center made arrangements for the future works, he strengthened that everyone should be pragmatic, responsible and committed to the works, provide better service to the projects according to the actual situation on site, enhance the awareness of learning and improve management level, increase the frequency for equipment inspection, greasing, fastening, remove the potential equipment failure, conduct strict performance evaluation on management.
Meanwhile, the attendees came to an agreement on future works concerning cost-reduction and efficiency improvement. Management on pre-procurement should be strengthened, equipment should be selected based on the principle of overall situation, long-term development, practicability, cost performance etc. Equipment management should be enhanced through reducing equipment failure, increasing efficiency, improving equipment scrap management. Cost reduction and efficiency improvement is especially important under the downturn of mining sector.
