The RMB 228 million project – underground construction & development works for Hubei Sanxin Gold & Copper Corporation was successfully completed and ready for acceptance, after four years of hard work from its contractor, JCHX Mining Management Co Ltd.
The contract of Ⅰ-Phase 3 Kt/d Production Expansion Project for Sanxin Copper Mine was awarded in Aug 2012, including the construction of additional main shaft, shaft tower, new ventilation shaft, orepass, underground sub-level conveyance system, +27m tunnels, waste rock orepass, etc, with total contract value of RMB126 million. In Oct 2013, Ⅱ-Phase Project was also assigned to JCHX, including construction of auxiliary shaft, sub-level development for primary production at -570m and sub-level construction at -970m, -1000m and -1040m, ventilation shaft deepening project on Line 7, equipping and piping for ventilation shaft on Line 17, total value of RMB102 million. Thus a total value of RMB228 million project for Sanxin Copper Mine was contracted by JCHX.
Through well-organized construction and management, most of the works are done while the additional main shaft was awarded as ministry-level outstanding project. Subject to the Client’s requirements, the completion data was submitted before June 1st, of which the completion data for main shaft, new ventilation shaft, auxiliary shaft, mining preparation works at -570m, water pump station at -970 and tunnels at +27m etc. Were completed before May 2nd , waiting for the inspection and acceptance from the Client.
