On 28 Aug, the installation works of cage shaft in Yechangping Project was successfully accepted by the Client after one year of careful execution.
Cage Auxiliary Shaft of Yechangping Moly Mine locats at Lushi County of Henan Province, it’s part of production expansion works of Zhongyuan Mining Corporation – subsidiary of China National Gold Group. This project was awarded to JCHX since Aug 2015, and was managed by the Shaft Sinking Branch of JCHX, with scope of works such as equipping and installation of shaft, equipment and head frame, construction of winch room, heapstead, substations etc. The shaft consist of 120 marker beds with elevation from +570.09 up to +1182; the actual commencement date of the works was 9 Sept 2015.
The acceptance procedures were conducted by Zhongyuan Mining Corporation, under the witness of delegation from China National Gold Group, engineering institute, as well as supervision unit. The acceptance committee established three different working groups based on different professions including civil construction, shaft equipping and hoist system, which carefully inspected the work quality of lighting system, floors condition, sidewall concrete-pouring, thermal insulation and water-proof measures, etc; meanwhile they conducted site surveys and measurement on the sizes of horsehead frame, ladder compartment, portal handrail, cage and bracket safety clearance; checked functions of hoist engine, lubricating plate, brakes and electronic control system. In the end they carried a selective examination on the completion data.
The project was successfully accepted by the client through the evaluation and approval of acceptance committee, with quality and standards of all the works and relevant documents to the satisfactory of the client.
The successful deliver of installation at cage shaft in Yechangping Moly Mine not only gained high reputation for JCHX but also provided valuable experiences for the future works.
