On 15 Feb, the ceremony for appointing Academician Mr. Chuanyao SUN of Chinese Academy of Engineering as Adviser for Scientific & Technological Expert Committee of JCHX was held in Beijing with the attendance of Board Chairman Mr. Xiancheng WANG, President of JCHX Group Mr. Huaisheng PENG and President of JCHX Mining Mr. Zhanmin LI.
Scientific & Technological Expert Committee of JCHX is a professional organization which provides technical support, instructions, plans and guidance to the company in terms of scientific & technological strategies, research and development, technical innovation, technique consulting, key construction methods and technique, training of technical staff etc, it also aims at continuously enhancing the overall operation skills and technical level of JCHX. Currently the committee employs five academicians from Chinese Academy of Science or Chinese Academy of Engineering as advisers, with expertise covering mining engineering, mining machinery, shaft sinking, mineral processing, rock mechanics, blasting engineering etc, besides it employs 13 experts from colleges, universities or scientific research institutes relating to mining sector. The appointment of Mr. Sun this time further strengthened the committee in terms of its profession and authority.
During the ceremony, Chairman Wang pointed that the establishment of this committee is a significant move on expediting scientific and technological innovation of JCHX with the support of top-level intelligence in China’s mining industry. The combination of theoretical and academic strength from professionals as well as JCHX’s expertise in practical works will definitely bring more advantages to JCHX and enables it to contribute more to China’s mining industry. The committee shall play its critical role in leading JCHX to the right direction and assist JCHX to make more rational decisions and strategies, guide its way in conducting research and development; promote the scientific and technological progress through putting theoretical result into practice and achieve industrialization; meanwhile strengthen the communication and exchanges between academicians, experts and technical staff to enhance the core competitiveness of JCHX.
Mr. Sun highly recommended the brand image, reputation and influence of JCHX, as well as its contribution to the scientific and technological progress, also he expressed his sincere willingness to devote himself to JCHX and to the mining industry.
