In order to furthre implement the corporate strategy of talent formation, strengthen the learning spirit of all employees and enhance the overall project management,since the beginning of this year, KCM project has included the on-the-job training for Chinese staff into daily management. With gradually intensified training, a satisfactory outcome has been achieved.
During the work meeting in the beginning of this year, Project Manager Mr. Su Yongding proposed that professional training of Chinese staff would be the priority work this year. And right off the start of 2017, a detailed annual training plan was drafted, with training sessions mostly arranged in the morning of Sundays, project managers and PICs of different sections acting as instructors/trainers. Training topics covers all issues in terms of project management, which truly reflect pertinence and practicability.
In addition, a sign-in protocol was arranged to ensure the attendance of the audience, thus to realize full coverage of staff training. Exams/tests on irregular basis were also arranged to ensure the training effect. With active participation, a well planned training has been carrying out with track records, follow-ups and satifactory outcome.
Till the end of April, KCM project has carried out more than 10 sessions of training on various topics, such as Form Applications in Section Production Management, How to Control the Boulder Yield in Blasting, How to Avoid High Temperature in Equipment System Running & How to Prolong the Service Life of Components etc.
The proficiency and skills of both the trainers and trainees have been substantially enhanced through training sessions, sharing of professional know-how has been realized while a strong learning atmosphere created, which enabled the regular unfolding of various management works. Furthermore, the training program will be carried out more frequently, with enriched and up to date schedule, more flexible training method and more practical content, with the purpose of ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of training program.
