Development Works at -785m of XI Orebody in Tonglushan Copper Mine Completed

After nearly one year of hard work, the development and cutting works at -785m of XI orebody in Tonglushan Copper Mine was successfully completed and accepted on May 10, 2017. The completion data was transferred smoothly to the client and highly appreciated by the latter.

The work is mainly composed of station, crosscut section, transverse drift, ore drift along the vein, substations, prospecting chambers and decline on -845m, which started on June 15, 2016. Within one year, a total tunneling amount of 38128.57m³, and total ground support of 15073m³ were completed.

In the past year, the project actively responded to the company's calls for “starting anew” and carried forward the spirit of arduous struggle. Despite of so many unfavorable factors such as high temperature of above 38 degrees Celsius for four consecutive months in the working area, it has overcome long time stemming in the main ore pass by the waste rock and consequent difficulty in descending the materials and deployment of engineering, have mobilized the technical personnel and staff to respond positively. With careful organization, full display of the mechanization’s superiority and in the premise of guaranteed safety, the works were completed with best quality and in accordance with the schedule which has gained the high appraisal from the client.

The excellent completion of the above works further proved that JCHX people can endure hardship, can fight and can win. It also deflects JCHX’s ideal of high standards, high quality and high efficiency. It’s believed that under the leadership of HQ and branch companies,Tonglushan Project will achieve even better performances.
