Recently, an 1254 vehicle allocated from the company arrived at Subei at the anticipation of the staff of Subei project, which marks a substantive milestone in promotion of full mechanization at Subei Project.
Subei Project was awarded the construction of mining development and preparation mining of Qijiao iron mine of Bolun Mining Company in Subei County. Since its establishment for 7 years, the main excavation relies on hand-held drilling and long hole drilling machine, mechanization and labor efficiency are very low. Although the large number of hand-held drilling and 90 Model drilling machine group became a unique landscape of Subei Project, but the efficiency was not high and safety risks of serious problems can not be underestimated. In 2012, the project introduce two Boomer 281 drilling jumbos, but , these assets did not play their due role due to inexperience and other reasons, which lead to lack of confidence among partial managers and staff on mechanized construction organization and management.
Since the spring of 2017, with strong support of two level companies and owners, the project regained confidence, vigorously implemented mechanization, and actively carried out reconstruction and construction work to auxiliary system related to mechanized operation under the development trend of the company. With admission and steady operation of the first 1254 mining vehicle in mid-June, Subei Project commissioned a new prelude to mechanized operation. In the second half of this year, the project will gradually introduce three mining vehicles and two digging vehicles. As an old saying has it, Idle boast the strong pass is a wall of iron, but with firm strides we are crossing its summit. The smooth mechanized operation of Subei Project will turn a new chapter of efficient production organization.
