On 18 Oct, Baiyu Project broke a new record for backfilling with 1558m³ per day despite of the harsh conditions on high altitude region.
The scope of work for Baiyu Project include operation of backfilling plant for Sichuan Xinyuan Mining Limited, the construction of filling plant was completed in early June 2017 with designed filling capacity of 902m³ per day.
Since commissioning in July, under the support from client and OEMs, project team implemented several technical improvements targeting at process upgrade, equipment familiarization, and system optimization, despite of shortage of labor, limited shifting time, and heavy tasks. Through in-depth discussion and subject to site conditions, JCHX increased number of front-line workers, improved stope preparation and construction of filling barricade, solved several problems with the assistance of technical and management team dispatched by branch company and headquarters.
After two-month trial operations, the designed filling capacity was almost achieved in September with 920m³ per day, on 25 Sep even 1540m³ per day was achieved in filling stope, which was above the target and won high appraisal from the client.
On 18 Oct, a new record was created in filling stope with 1558m³ per day. This excellent record not only greatly motivated the workers but also accumulated valuable experiences for JCHX.
