On 11 Jan 2018, sinking & lining of multi-functional shaft at Yinshan Project was successfully completed and accepted by the client.
Multi-funcional shaft is a key component for the deepen mining and technical upgrading project, JCHX won the bid in Nov 2014, with the scope of work including sinking, lining, equipping of shaft, construction of shaft tower, underground crushing system and ore passes, sub-level developments etc. The multi-functional shaft is 924.8m in depth, with net diameter of 7.5m, top at +113.8mRL, shaft collar of 31.8m with reinforced concrete support of 800mm, shaft barrel with plain concrete support (C30) of 500mm. Totally seven stations and one loading chamber are designed within the shaft.
The sinking and lining of multi-functional shaft was commenced on 26 Nov 2015, and completed on 11 Jan 2018, meaning fourteen days ahead of schedule, despite of difficulties such as large water inflow, high ground temperature etc. The efficient completion and good quality of the works gained consistent praises from client and supervisors, which laid a solid foundation for future works.
