On 29 Mar, Mr. Owen Hegarty – Executive Chairman of EMR Capital Group (hereinafter referred to as EMR) and Mr. Tim Lu – Director of EMR visited JCHX headquarters, met with senior executives of JCHX and discussed intensively about current operations at Lubambe Copper Mine where JCHX is providing mining services for EMR and touched upon potential cooperation in other regions, meanwhile the memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation (hereinafter referred to as MOU) was signed between both parties. Mr. Xiancheng WANG, Chairman of JCHX, Mr. Huaisheng PENG, President of JCHX Group, Mr. Youcheng WANG, Vice President of JCHX, Mr. Shizhou YIN, CFO & VP of JCHX Group, Mr. Bangfu WU, Secretary of the Board of JCHX attended the signing ceremony.
EMR is a specialist resources private equity manager with a proven track record in successful resources project development, operation, and investments and deep linkages to Asian markets. Its outstanding track record of team members as resource discoverers, developers, operators, managers and investors with an ability to recognize and unlock significant value by advancing projects from exploration through to production and to identify and unlock value from high quality asset opportunities at various stages of the mining life cycle. Additionally, its unique strength enables it to be more effective in originating proprietary investment opportunities, evaluating project potential and project risks, adding value to investee companies and generating successful exit outcomes.
Before the meeting started, Mr. Huaisheng PENG showed the guests to the exhibition hall where he briefly introduced the development, business scopes, industry chain and overseas footprints of JCHX.
After seated, Mr. Hegarty elaborated on some of the current projects that EMR is engaged, exchanged the ideas with Mr. Xiancheng WANG and other senior executives of JCHX, explored the opportunities of potential cooperation.
Furthermore, both parties talked about existing problems and challenges at Lubambe Copper Mine, with constructive suggestions proposed accordingly.
After the discussion, on behalf of each party, Mr. Hegarty and Mr. Xiancheng WANG signed the MOU under the witnesses by the other senior executives. Both parties believe this MOU is significant for strengthening the friendship and expansion of future cooperation.
Lastly both parties shared the technical data regarding future opportunities and expressed the intention of expedite the progress of works.
