Recently the 26t reinforced beam was successfully installed at 76m platform of Yinshan shaft tower through unremitting efforts of all personnel in Yinshan Project, which represented the entering into key stage of shaft construction, and laid a solid foundation for installation of 20t mobile beam at 93.5m platform later on.
The tower for this multi-functional shaft is 93.5m in height with frame-shear wall structure, covering 4410 square meters, totally 10 floors. The scope of work comprises of tower construction and ore passing & crushing system, which is a complicated and formidable task.
The 26t reinforced beam is 17.6m long, 3.4m high, and 0.8m in width, the installation of which was categorized as extremely dangerous sectional work. Based on the updated Safety Regulations on Extremely Dangerous Sectional Work, Yinshan Project prepared a detailed construction scheme, specific installation method, analyzed load-against-wind condition, and utilized CAD to confirm hoisting position, height and angle, to ensure safety and smoothness of installation.
The implementation scheme was also reviewed by several experts prior to execution, to furtherly ensure its safety and operability. Finally, the installation was successfully completed in spite of all hardships which is such a good news at year end.
