At 9 p.m of Oct 31, after the last blasting, JCHX Zambia renewed its record by monthly advancement of 518m, with total excavation of 12675m3 using M2C drill jumbo; meanwhile it achieved 8 blasts in single day with daily advancement of 33.6m. After hearing these good news, NFCA sent a congratulation letter.
In November 2017, JCHX utilized a new fleet headed by M2C digital control double arm drilling jumbo, assisted by 7m3 LHD ST14 for mucking, Yantai Xingye XYQM045 scaling jumbo and TLB315sk excavator for face preparation, Boltech235 and Cabletec for ground support, and Getman charging jumbo for charging explosives.
This fleet consists of most advanced equipment and is highly mechanized, which required higher skills and knowledge from personnel and operators. In order to familiarize with new equipment and to achieve high efficiency sooner, JCHX drew lessons from world leading mines, vigorously promoted information reform, trained jumbo operators, accelerated auxiliary system transformation, which laid a solid foundation for the operation of equipment and ramp up. Since November 2017, we constantly stressed troubleshooting, drew experiences, made improvements and increased standards, which finally brought up this new monthly advancement record in Oct 2018.
NFCA extended their sincere congratulations to such achievement and believed which was attributed to the close cooperation between all parties, rational plan, elaborate organization, and strict management.
