
On July 10th, Li Jie, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia visited JCHX Overseas Division, and was warmly welcomed by Mr. Wang Youcheng, Vice President of JCHX and General Manager of Overseas Division along with other employees.Ambassador Li and his delegation arrived JCHX Overseas Division in the morning of July 10th. Upon his arrival, Ambassador Li was given a welcome ceremony by the employees led by Mr. Wang Youcheng. While accompanying the Ambassador to visit the office building, central warehouse and workshop, Mr. Wang introduced current business of JCHX and its future development plans.
During his visit, Ambassador Li learned about the overall picture of JCHX’s achievements at home and abroad, as well as its strategic development plan in Zambia. When he knew the scale of JCHX Overseas Division, he highly appreciated JCHX by fully recognizing the achievements it made in Zambia, and he pointed out the large projects operated by JCHX in Zambia and other African countries not only enabled itself huge progress and vigorous development, but also made due contribution to the enhancement of Sino-Zambian friendship. Because, on one hand, JCHX Overseas Division underpinned the national resources strategy of China and facilitated the pan-out of Belt and Road Initiatives (hereinafter referred to as BRI), on the other hand, the legitimate operations and the taxation paid to the local government contributed to Zambia’s industrialization drive, and what’s more, the purchase of local goods made by JCHX Overseas Division boosted development of local small and medium-sized enterprises, which enhanced employment for local people.
Ambassador Li also expressed his expectations on JCHX Overseas Division for future development. “When the machining and manufacturing businesses begin to take shape, I will invite Zambian officials in charge of this sector to visit you and help you solve practical problems so that JCHX will be able to forge ahead in a rapid and sound fashion.” he said.
General Manager Wang Youcheng extended his sincere gratitude to Chinese Embassy in Zambia for its consistent support to JCHX, and said he would do his utmost to manage the business well, make it a credit to motherland, and furthermore, make greater contributions to the further progress of BRI as well as the consolidation of Sino-Zambian friendship.
