Recently Jimond (JCHX DRC subsidiary) held a safety meeting at Kamoa-Kakula, calling for continuous efforts on achieving the target of ‘Zero Harm’ in 2019.
More than 600 personnel including Chinese, South African and Congolese nationals attended the meeting, during which safety lectures were given and Q&A session held. Heated discussion were completed in different languages (Chinese, English, French, and Swahili).
Senior Management patiently answered all queries, elaborated on the advanced safety management principles and respectively introduced cultures from China and South Africa. After the meeting, all participants fully understood the importance of ‘Zero Harm, Timely Report and Sound Environment’ and were determined to achieve the safety and construction target of 2019.
