On June 3, a completion ceremony was held to celebrate the successful completion of the main shaft & 1# ventilation shaft at Musonoi Project. The event was hosted by Mr. Zhang Jun, Deputy GM of JCHX Overseas Division, with the presence of over 20 delegates including Mr. Li Yanlong, GM of Metorex Ruashi.
The ceremony commenced upon the arrival of all attendees at the bank of 1# ventilation shaft. Mr. Wang Fumin, Deputy Manager of the project, delivered a speech to not only extend warm welcome to the representatives from Metorex, ENFI, and the supervision company and to express sincere gratitude to the trust, support and assistance from Metorex.
After receiving the letter of acceptance for the main shaft construction in November 2019, JCHX has always stuck to the principle of “Customer-Oriented Approach, Harmonious Development” and the guideline of “Safety First, Quality-Based”. With top priority given to safety, the project team overcame all difficulties, promoted the application of SOPs, prepared scientific construction plan and executed the work in organized manner. The successful completion of these two shafts would not be possible without the appropriate guidance and tremendous support from the Client, the engineering company and the supervision company.
The completion of shaft construction marks the commencement of other works. Under the leadership of JCHX Mining and JCHX Overseas Division, with the support from the Client, the engineering company and the supervision company, the project team will endeavor its best to facilitate earlier production at Musonoi Copper-Cobalt Mine.
Then Mr. Li addressed that joint efforts were made by Metorex and JCHX during the past one and a half years to execute the works as scheduled while fighting the pandemic, and a profound friendship has been established. Metorex hopes to upgrade the cooperation with JCHX to a higher level and to move together with JCHX toward more successes.
After the ceremony, a tea party was organized where all participants enjoyed good memories of working together and great prospects laying ahead.
