JCHX Attending 11th Astana International Mining and Metallurgy Conference (AMM)

The 11th Astana International Mining and Metallurgy Conference (AMM) was held in Nursultan, capital of Kazakhstan from October 21 to 22, with the attendance of several world-famous mining companies, steel producers, and Kazakhstan mining companies. Representatives from JCHX also attended this major event.

Recently with the expansion of “domestic and overseas markets”, JCHX has extended its business from African, Europe, South Asia to Mid Asia. On 3 July 2021, Consortium of JCHX and CCECC entered into cooperation with Shalkiya Zinc for the capital construction works at Shalkiya Lead & Zinc Mine, for which a grand signing ceremony was held. Located in Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan, Shalkiya is a 4 mtpa project where the consortium undertakes the capital development and shaft rehabilitation works, with a period of 50 months.

As the most important event in nonferrous industry in Kazakhstan, AMM is proved to be not only an essential platform for brand promotion but also a professional forum where governments, associations, universities and mining companies exchange ideas and knowledges.

In the event, JCHX demonstrated its achievements in mine construction and mining operation, especially the advantages in ultra-deep shaft construction; in addition, it introduced multimec manufactured by Kingnor, the joint venture between JCHX and Normet; its world-class paste filling lab, researches in paste filling technology, and successful investment in mining assets drew a lot of attention from strategic investors.

Last but not least, Mr. Adilbek Sarsongbayev, the Undersecretary of Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan visited JCHX’s booth to understand the progress of JCHX and CCECC Consortium at Shalkiya. After which he encouraged the consortium a success at Shalkiya Project.
