A site inspection was conducted from 23 to 25 February to JCHX Shalkiya project jointly by EBRD (the Investor), the Employer and the supervisory company, after which the project was highly praised by the inspection team.
As planned, the inspection was conducted both on surface and underground respectively on the mornings of February 23 and 24, and followed by meetings in the afternoon, with the presence of Mr. Wei Weiwei, Deputy GM of JCHX Operation Management Center, Mr. Jiang Haiwen, Deputy GM of JCHX Beijing Branch, Mr. Wang Xin, Assistant to GM of CCECC Kazakhstan Branch, and Mr. Zhai Wudi, Project Manager.
During UG inspection, Mr. Zhai firstly introduced relevant work procedures, such as engineering design, drilling and ground support, before the inspection to the development faces and maintenance workshop was conducted by the inspection team.
EBRD, the Employer and the supervisory company highly acknowledged Shalkiya project in respect of its work quality, progress and safety management. In addition, KAZ Minerals PLC, the parent company of the Employer, even expressed sincere willingness to further and deepen cooperation with JCHX.
