Jimond Mining Management Company Sarl (JMMC) completed 2851m/103,962m3 of development in February, renewing the record of 2711m/103,513m³ created in January, overfulfilling the monthly target set by the Employer.
Facing the adverse impacts of water ingress and over 10m-high section, under the leadership of the management, team on site proactively took various measures to ensure work safety, quality, and progress while reducing cost, which contributed to the astonishing good record realized in February.
To achieve that goal, the project’s safety and production department tirelessly provided training to UG workers, convened daily meetings among all relevant parties to update work progress, identify and resolve key problems, report equipment maintenance record and ensure stable operation. Technical department timely followed up quality of ground support, as well as overbreak and underbreak conditions, provided feedback on daily basis, with engineers marking the geological boundary of the orebody and indicating excavation gradient before each blast; in addition, great support was provided by auxiliary personnel through ensuring normal supply of air, water & power to UG faces.
Focusing on fulfilling the monthly target, JMMC attained remarkable progresses in January and February through joint efforts among all parties and promoting standardized management, and it will continue to optimize planning and management to make new progress.
