In February, despite of all challenges a monthly development of 555m was achieved efficiently at Musonoi Project, hitting a record high.
The scope of work at Musonoi Project include shaft sinking and horizontal development works with multiple ends and crossing different levels. Facing the adverse impacts such as unstable power supply, JCHX team on site met challenges head-on and completed the renovation of all service facilities in the shaft including air, water & power supply, without affecting normal production.
Since all workers, equipment and materials shall be transported via the shaft, the original sheave platform, shaft cover and wire rope used for shaft sinking were remained so as to significantly reduce the time required for the change-over of hoist system, and for energy conservation and efficiency improvement.
Work is meticulously organized to precisely control the time for personnel shifting and improve bucket utilization, especially in face of working under different levels and at multiple ends. In order to strengthen communication between different crews, the management fully leveraged morning and night meetings to reasonably allocate workers and equipment. Besides, designated personnel was assigned to take care of power generator, so as to mitigate the influence of power-off to the greatest extent.
Trackless fleet were mobilized in an organized way while all challenges tackled. Target measures were taken and advance preparations made jointly by the equipment department and technical department after keeping close contact with the production crew in February. The application of advanced fleet, including Boomer 281 & 282 and Tonly trucks, also substantially improved work efficiency.
