On April 16, sinking and lining of 2# air return shaft and associated excavation works at Bor project were successfully completed, 27 days ahead of schedule, which is another good news following the completion of 1# air intake shaft in Jan and indicates that all vertical development works at Bor project have been completed with horizontal development works commenced.
During sinking, under the support of the Employer, the project established a strict assessment system and formulated thorough, systematic and efficient management measures to guarantee construction progress, and stipulated detailed safety targets to provide strong support to those working at the front line.
The early completion of the shaft has inspired the entire project to further surmount challenges arising from the pandemic and to create more achievements. The project will continue to stride forward during horizontal development works and enhance JCHX’s competitiveness in the European market, making more contributions to develop Bor project into a world bench-marking one.
