The commencement ceremony of the sinking of air return shaft at Weng’an project was held on May 29, hosted by Mr. Li Yongyuan, Project Manager, with the presence of Mr. Geng Lifeng, Chairman of Weng’an Tianyi Mining Limited (“Tianyi Mining”), Mr. Zuo Jun, representative from Changsha Huaxing Construction Supervisory Company (“Huaxing”) and the project management.
In the ceremony, Mr. Geng highly praised the project for the rapid equipment and personnel mobilization despite difficult situations posed by the pandemic, and expressed his firm belief that JCHX is the right partner to carry out the mining and processing works (Section II) at Laohudong Phosphate Mine.
The headgear mobilization, which originally scheduled to be on site by the end of March, was delayed by one month due to the reasons attributable to the manufacture, which challenged project progress. However, concerted efforts were made by the project to prepare detailed project implementation plan to minimize the influence. Finally, upon the mobilization of the headgear on April 30, the assembly was completed in one week, thanks to the efficient construction organization and rich working experience, with the installation successfully completed on May 8. Then the sinking of the air return shaft was officially commenced on May 29.
After the ceremony, Mr. Zhu Weibo, Project Director, organized a meeting to prepare detailed shaft sinking plan, during when he expected that joint efforts can be made by the entire project to carry out construction with efficiency and fulfill the construction targets with stability.
