
At Kinsenda and Kipushi Projects
Mr. Qinghai Wang, Chairman of JCHX Mining, paid a visit to Kinsenda project, a newly-awarded project in DRC, on February 18 to inspect construction progress, equipment management and staff training for locals and expats, then he expressed his expectation to the project to pursue innovation and creation in finding an effective way of localized management. Later Mr. Wang turned to Kipushi project, where he listened to the project report before asking the management about office & living areas planning, site security control and equipment management. Then a meeting was held between Mr. Wang and all Chinese employees.
At Musonoi Project
Mr. Wang communicated face-to-face with the management of the Owner of Musonoi project on February 24 over project construction, with focuses mainly placed on comprehensive budget management, safe production, staff training and SOP practices. Then Mr. Wang headed to UG faces respectively at 380mL and 400mL the next day to deliver work instructions.
At Kamoa Project
Mr. Wang arrived at Kamoa project on February 25. He firstly inspected surface camp construction, for which he highly praised the project for its efforts in the improvement of site living & working conditions, and in strengthening the staff’s sense of belonging. Then he visited UG faces at B13 (south-west mining area), B8 (south-east mining area) and PD1E, where he required the project to uphold the principle of safety first and conduct support strictly according to requirements.
At Kamoya Project
On February 28, Mr. Wang inspected Kamoya project and requested the project to further improve localized management, constantly learn local industrial practices and laws & regulations to optimize internal control system, strengthen recruitment and training of local talents with well-established incentive mechanism, promote team building of industrial workers based on SOP implementation, and continuously explore effective way of equipment maintenance to enhance standardized equipment management and lay a solid foundation for subsequent production.
