To fully support JCHX’s goal of achieving benefits through management and implement JCHX’s plan on efficiency improvement, JCHX Chambishi project held a workshop on March 1, participated by both Chinese and Zambian workers, with instructions given in terms of efficiency improvement through standardized management and quality enhancement through safety control.
2024 marks the beginning year for Chambishi project to press ahead with localized management reform. In the workshop, heads of all crew and departments signed the letter of commitment on safety production to further ascertain relevant responsibilities at all levels.
The meeting was hosted by Mr. Alfonso Mwamba, Zambian UG Manager, with the attendance of both Chinese and Zambian management team, foremen, shift bosses and all department heads. Zambian Safety Manager first reported on the safety performance, existing issues regarding safety management during the first two months of 2024 and safety management priorities for stage 1. Then foremen and department heads communicated with each other over current challenges, difficulties and matters requiring support from the management team. Two hours of efficient discussion clearly sorted out a path for the project to implement standardized and delicacy management and establish a sound coordination mechanism featuring high efficiency.
