
Recently, JCHX Serbia company encouraged its employees of different nationalities to participate in the autumn sport games hosted by the Owner. JCHX teams ranked the first in both tug-of-war and basketball games, and the third in table tennis game, fully showed the vitality of JCHX Serbia company.
With the deepening implementation of localization strategy, more and more outstanding foreign employees joined JCHX’s overseas branches and are working together with Chinese workers to made contributions to the development of JCHX’s overseas market. There are more than 1500 employees working at JCHC Serbia company, including 650 of local staff and 100 from Zambia, accounting for about half of the total.
Serbia company, as an essential part of JCHX’s “Go Overseas” strategy, has been committed to enhancing exchanges and integration of diverse cultures within its team, using sports in particular as medium to promote team communication and cooperation, establish an open, harmonious and win-win corporate atmosphere, and improve the mutual understanding and trust of employees to strengthen employees’ cohesion, unity and sense of belonging, to further encourage them to learn from each other and build a strong team. In the spring sport games held by the Owner in this May, Serbia company’s team performed well and ranked the second in the basketball game, displayed the excellent sports ability and sportsmanship. Besides, Serbia company invited foreign employees to engage in sports activities celebrating National Day of China, and obtained big success.
Mr. Liu Weidong, Deputy GM of Serbia company, said that sports not only strengthen employees’ physical body and boost friendships, but consolidated cohesion and unity and injected new impetus into the team. In each game, the management of Serbia company would be on the scene to boost the morale of the players. During the games, friendship and cooperation were fully improved, bringing the hearts of employees closer. Dejan Velickovic, a commuter bus driver from Peki project obtained master’s degree from School of Physical Education of University of Niš, participated in the games of basketball, tug-of-war, table tennis and skipping rope, and he said excitedly: “I made great success together with my Chinese colleagues. Last time, we won the first place in football game and second place in basketball game. This time in October, we as representatives from JCHX played in the games of basketball and table tennis organized by the Owner and won the first place and the third place respectively. Though from different places, we cooperated pretty well. It is a great experience for me. I hope we can perform better in future sports activities. For me, JCHX Serbia is indeed a big family. I wish that JCHX will develop better and make more remarkable achievements in our country as well as around the globe”.
“Recently we had sports game and I want to express my feeling about this. It was very beautiful. How to say, I felt very grateful about that. They gave me the chance to express my feeling, to express myself about this competition. We want the championship about tug of war and basketball. All people work there. and we are connected together. I want to say you need to present yourself. Because this company give us opportunity, to every body. I started to work here about two and a half years ago. I started as mining helper. Now I progressed into shift leader. This company respects hard working people. So that is all what I wanna say.” said Sloba Djuric, shift leader from Kinsey Project, who competed in the basketball and tug-of-war games.
Jelena Andrejic, Accountant from Peki project, who played in basketball games in May and October, said: “I’m proud of our success in basketball. Our victory confirms that teamwork is crucial for success, not only on the court, but in the whole area of our life. When each individuals give their best and contribute to a common goal, it’s team that between. And this applies to our family, work and society as a whole. Regardless of our differences, good co-operation is what unites and makes us stronger, no matter how skilled an individual is, without the support of others, they cannot achieve a greater result. Our success is a proof that when we all invest our energy and work as one, the result is inevitable.”
