
From January 14 to 22, twenty-three overseas outstanding employees respectively from Zambia, DRC, Ghana, South Africa, Serbia, and Laos visited JCHX headquarters in Beijing, China. They participated in the company's 2025 annual conference, received honors, and toured Beijing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou to experience China's rapid development and profound cultural heritage. The trip also provided them with a closer look at JCHX's harmonious, open, inclusive, and innovative corporate culture.
Upon arriving at the headquarters, they first visited the company exhibition hall and expressed deep admiration for JCHX's visionary development strategies and its commitment to its mission. After which they were warmly welcomed by JCHX founder and Group Chairman Wang Xiancheng, along with other senior executives, including Wang Qinghai, Chairman of JCHX Mining, Huang Haigen, President of JCHX Mining, and Vice Presidents Wang Cicheng and Wang Youcheng.
During subsequent discussions, Mr. Wang Xiancheng shared valuable insights with overseas employees on topics such as the future of mining, production safety, green development, talent building, and corporate social responsibilities. Wang warmly welcomed all participants, many of whom are visiting China for the first time, by saying, "Welcome to China, and welcome home!" He expressed heartfelt gratitude for their hard work and significant contributions over the past year.
Mr. Wang highlighted that since its establishment JCHX has aimed at global market. By beginning with its overseas operation in Zambia over two decades ago, the company has expanded its footprint across Africa, Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and South America, with overseas business now serving as a dominant driver of its growth. JCHX's business scope has expanded from mining services to resource development, technological innovation, equipment manufacturing, and trade. In 2024, the company took a significant step forward by acquiring the Lubambe Copper Mine in Zambia, further consolidating its power in the mining resource development sector. As JCHX accelerates its internationalization efforts, an increasing number of employees of diverse nationalities, ethnicities, religions, and cultural backgrounds joined this family. They, alongside their Chinese counterparts, have made invaluable contributions to the company's rapid development. Wang expressed deep gratitude for their dedication and extended heartfelt thanks to their families for their support and understanding.
Wang emphasized JCHX's active role in the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting cultural exchanges between China and other countries. The company adheres strictly to local laws and respects the customs and cultures of the countries in which it operates. At the same time, Wang encouraged international employees to learn more about Chinese culture and JCHX’s corporate values through this trip, to gain first-hand knowledge about China's achievements since its reform and opening-up. He hoped that their visit to the headquarters would deepen their understanding of JCHX’s mission and vision.
In the meantime, several international employees shared their experiences, including Tijana Panić Pavlović, HR Director at JCHX Serbia Operations, Ali Chilumba Simukonda, Risk, Safety, and Compliance Manager at Lubambe Copper Mine, and Barend Johannes Koorzen, Safety Manager at Wassa Project, who expressed their gratitude for the job opportunity, career development, and skill enhancement provided by JCHX. They also highly acknowledged the company's contributions to local employment, economic growth, and educational development. Employees from Lubambe project in Zambia particularly thanked JCHX for investing the mine, which has revitalized its sustainable development, provided stable livelihoods for their families, and contributed to community harmony. They are also committed to working diligently to achieve new milestones for Lubambe project and to uphold JCHX's reputation as a responsible and trustworthy international brand.
In response, Wang reiterated JCHX’s commitment to the personal and professional growth of all employees. He also encouraged them to take full advantage of the opportunities and platforms provided by the company to enhance their skills and achieve greater career success. Wang emphasized that every effort made by employees contributes to JCHX's development as well as the economic prosperity of their home countries. On the 15th of Jan, overseas outstanding employees listened to the company’s 2024 work report, on the 17th, they received the honors of certificates and awards from Group Chairman Wang and President Peng. Barend Johannes Koorzen took the stage as a representative to deliver a speech. He said, "I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the management team for the opportunity to be part of JCHX. Having worked in many countries and with many companies, JCHX is one of the most socially responsible companies I have ever worked with, as it is a first-class mining company that puts the safety of its employees as the highest priority, and is known for delivering projects on time, within budget, with top-notch quality. I firmly believe and expect the company to flourish and continue to solidify its position as a trusted leader in the mining industry."
This trip was not only a journey of exploration and exchange, but also an unforgettable cultural experience. During their stay in Beijing, the overseas employees visited Tiananmen Square, the Imperial Palace, the China Auto Museum, the Great Wall, and Bird’s Nest (National Stadium). On the 19th, they boarded the Fuxing bullet train to Hangzhou and Shanghai. Their itinerary covered cultural landmarks like West Lake, Wuzhen Water Town, Shanghai Bund, Shanghai Tower, Yu Garden, and Shanghai Wild Animal Park, where they immersed themselves in picturesque landscapes, savored local delicacies, and engaged with Chinese culture firsthand.
Through this visit, they profoundly felt the warmth of the JCHX family while filled with a sense of pride, marveling at the company's thriving technological innovation and development vitality. All participants expressed that they would share these unforgettable experiences with their colleagues, families and friends, and pass on valuable insights and best practices, working collectively to contribute to JCHX's sustainable and high-quality development.
