
On April 25, Mr. Neil Bush, Chairman of the George H. W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations, visited the headquarters of JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd., where he and his delegation were warmly welcomed by Mr. Wang Xiancheng, Chairman of JCHX Group, and Mr. Peng Huaisheng, President of the Group.
Mr. Bush and his delegation first visited JCHX’s gallery, where they gain detailed knowledge about the company’s development history, business scope, and strategic vision, with a particular focus on its progress in overseas mine development and resource investment. The visit also featured immersive demonstrations of underground mining operations using virtual reality technology and simulation of cage hoists and UG tunnels.
Mr. Wang Xiancheng extended a warm welcome on behalf of JCHX. He expressed profound admiration to the Bush family for their contributions in the advancement of U.S.-China relations. He also highlighted the important role of the George H. W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations in promoting multi-dimensional dialogue between the two countries covering economy, trade, culture, and climate change. The Foundation, through people-to-people diplomacy, think tank exchanges, and policy research, has actively fostered pragmatic cooperation.
Mr. Wang also emphasized that as an international mining company dedicated in engineering design, mine construction, operation and management, and technological R&D, JCHX will continue to leverage its 27 years of expertise in underground mining and its international management experience in overseas projects to contribute to the safe, efficient, green, and intelligent mining across the globe.
Mr. Neil Bush recalled his first visit to China in 1975, when accompanying his father, the 41st President of the United States, George H. W. Bush. Since then, he has visited China for 140 times and been to over 40 cities. He expressed his deep affection for China and noted that he has personally witnessed the country's remarkable rise and rapid development over the past five decades. Mr. Bush stated that he remains committed to carrying forward his family’s legacy by promoting mutually beneficial cooperation and cultural and economic exchanges between China and the United States. After better understanding JCHX’s strategic presence in international markets, he expressed his willingness to leverage his own resources and experience to support JCHX’s global expansion. He also shared his vision to assist more Chinese enterprises in their efforts to “go global” and achieve greater development.
