JCHX Mining Chairman Wang Qinghai Visits Colombian Ambassador to China

On July 23, Mr. Qinghai Wang, Chairman of JCHX Mining with his fellow team, paid an official visit to H.E Sergio Cabrera, the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia in China. Both sides exchanged the view on JCHX’s mining investments and its long-term development strategy in Colombia.

During the meeting, Mr. Wang briefed an overview of JCHX, including its comprehensive power in two core business segments: such as mine construction services and mineral resource development as well as the company’s competitive advantages across both domestic and international markets. He then emphasized on details of the investment and current situation of the Alacrán Project in Colombia and stressed the company's commitment to ‌implementing ESG principles by generating more employment opportunities, enhancing the technical capabilities of the local workforce, fostering harmonious community relations and regional development as well.

Mr. Wang said Colombia boasts abundant natural resources and continuously improving policies for promoting and protecting foreign investment, making it a significant component of JCHX's global strategic layout. He expressed strong interest in the local mining sector and affirmed the company’s intention to pursue long-term growth in Colombia. He further stated that JCHX aspires to establish the Alacrán Project as a model mining operation—one that promotes sustainable development and attracts high-quality international investment to the region.

Ambassador Cabrera expressed his welcome to Mr. Wang’s visit and expressed appreciation for the company's dedication to advancing Colombia's mining industry and contributing to the nation's critical mineral supply. He expressed that the Embassy would provide necessary support and facilitation for JCHX’s resource development initiatives in the country.

Also present at the meeting were Mr. Oscar Felipe Rueda, Commercial Counselor at the Colombian Embassy; Ms. Melisa Murcia, First Secretary; and Ms. Amanda Shi, Senior Investment Advisor at the Commercial Office. Representing JCHX were Ms. Bian Li, Director of International Affairs and Business Management Center, and Mr. Shen Yang, Assistant General Manager of the Resources Development Division.
