JCHX Mining recently rolled out the red carpet for its 2025 cohort of Outstanding International Employees, hosting 22 awardees from its operations across Zambia, Ghana, Botswana, South Africa, Peru, and Serbia at its Beijing headquarters from January 16 to 26. The visit combined business with cultural immersion, as the employees participated in the company's 2026 Annual Work Conference, received awards, and embarked on a curated tour of Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou.
The experience began at the JCHX corporate exhibition hall, where the group traced the company's 28-year journey from a domestic pioneer to a global mining leader. The display of strategic milestones, technological advancements, and core values left a strong impression, reinforcing confidence in JCHX's roadmap for high-quality, accelerated growth.
A highlight was a candid symposium with Founder / Chairman of JCHX Group Mr. Wang Xiancheng, who warmly welcomed the group "home." He expressed deep gratitude for their dedicated contributions and engaged in discussions on safety, talent development, and local community engagement. "Since establishment, we have aimed for the global stage," Wang remarked. "Our diverse international team is not just part of our growth; it is the driving force behind our leap forward." He also extended thanks to the families of employees for their steadfast support.
The awardees shared their perspectives, with several citing JCHX's commitment to local employment, skills development, and community investment. Eric Arthur (HR Manager, Wassa Project), Hugo Hendrik (Safety Officer, DRC Operations), James Chipampe (UG Mine Assistant Manager, Chambishi Project), and Boitumelo Leshiba (Alternate Project Manager, Khoemacau Project) spoke appreciatively of the company's efforts in standardization, local capacity building, and technological innovation.
"JCHX is committed to every employee's growth," Chairman Wang concluded. "We encourage you to leverage our global platform to hone your skills, contribute to your projects, and help write the next chapter in building JCHX into a world-class mining enterprise and advancing sustainable mining globally."
During the Annual Work Conference, the delegates listened to the annual report delivered by President Mr. Huang Haigen. The recognition ceremony saw Chairman Wang and Group President Mr. Peng Huaisheng jointly presenting commemorative certificates and bonuses.
Accepting his award, Safety Officer Hugo Hendrik said: "It is a true honor to be recognized. At JCHX, I have had the privilege of working alongside exceptionally talented and dedicated professionals. Together, we have achieved remarkable results and continue to drive progress across our projects. This award is not only an acknowledgment of individual effort but also motivation for our entire team to aim even higher in the coming year."
Beyond boardrooms, the itinerary blended iconic heritage sites with modern innovation. From Beijing's Forbidden City and Great Wall to Shanghai's futuristic skyline, employees witnessed China's unique blend of ancient tradition and cutting-edge development.
"This experience perfectly mirrors JCHX's values," summarized one participant. "We're building tomorrow's mining solutions while respecting local cultures and communities—whether in Serbia, Zambia or here in China."
