Oct 26th JCHX South Branch held a Maintenance Skill Competition at Kunming Back Shop in Yunnan Province after the training courses on professional skills for equipment completed. Mr. Wu Youze, Vice Director of Purchasing & Equipment Dept, Mr. Yang Junhua, Manager of Equipment Dept of JCHX South, Mr. Chen Jianhua, Lecturer of Nanchang Kaima, Mr. Song Guofu, experienced maintenance technician of JCHX South were invited to be the judges for this competition, while Mr. Guo Dadi, Deputy General Manager and Mr. Wang Chengzhou, General Manager of JCHX South also attended this competition.
The competition is divided into practical and theoretical parts. Practical test is the assembling and dismantling of LHD gear hub, focusing on the familiarity to the equipment and hands on abilities of competitors; theoretical test consist of the lecture content from the training courses, to see the learning effect of training. The competition was steaming ahead yet in good order. The competitors were divided into five groups each consist of three technicians, and all of them are excellent maintenance workers recommended by different projects. All the competitors exhibited their outstanding maintenance skills and team work spirit while endeavored to win the game by studying the drawings and proficiently use tools. At the end of the exciting and intense competition, Team Huize -Haikuang won the first prize, Team Dahongshan-Lancang won the second and Team Jiangtong won the third prize.
After that, Mr. Guo Dadi, the Deputy General Manager drew a conclusion, during which he pointed out that this competition not only enhanced the practical skills of maintenance staff, stipulated a positive learning and working spirit among employees, strengthened equipment maintenance capabilities by training highly professional and high level crew, but also increased the efficiency of training. He also proposed to conduct more of these activities among first-line employees in the future.
