On February 14th, the company held annual speech competition with the theme of "Youth, Responsibility, Dream", 16 contestants from different branches, subsidiaries and projects attended the competition. During the competitioin, all contestants were very enthusiastic and passionate, their encouraging and touching speeches won thunderous applause of the audience, and also brought strong resonance from the audience. Finally, Rongchang Sui from Tongshankou Project won the first prize, Xinyang Zhang from South Branch and Huifang Su from Tongjin Project won the second prize, Lihua Xu from Shaft Sinking Branch, Pengfei Liu from Daxinganling Project, Haichen Shen from Haikuang Shilu Project and Sen Jia from Miyun Project won the third prize. The leaders of company presented awards and prizes to the winners respectively.
The competition was held during annual work conference, all the attendees from the conference watched the competition. Mr. Xiancheng Wang, President of JCHX attended and gave important remarks in which he mentioned that youth is a prime and golden stage in one’s life, it is full of dreams and those dreams can only be realized through undertaking certain responsibilities. Currently the company is on a critical path for great-leap-forward development, it also provides a wide development space for employees especially young ones. He also proposed that young employees should foster correct world outlook, views on life and values, and establish strong sense of responsibility and mission, devote themselves into work and achieve self-worth. At the same time, he pointed out that future activities held by the company should emphasize the integration with practice, and actually contribute to the cultivation of young employees.
This competition was supported by all units and leaders, through elaborate organization and recommendation by different branches and subsidiaries, totally 48 speeches were submitted through selection, and after serious discussion and evaluation of the panel,16 finalists entered the last round. North Branch was awarded excellent organization.
This speech competition was held in order to implement the campaign of "Enhancing Sense of Responsibility & Improve Executive Ability" for the company. The purpose for this campaign is to create a loyal, dedicated atmosphere among employees, and to provide a stage where the employees are free to show their talents and working spirits. It’s also for promoting corporate culture, raising consciousness of the staff, unifying sense of value, and link the dream of employees and the dream of the company together.
