Recently approved by GAC, JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JCHX") was awarded AA Enterprise Qualification by China Customs. This Qualification not only is the highest level in China Customs Enterprises Management, but also equals Authorized Economic Operation (AEO) of World Customs Organization (WCO). This award represents that JCHX becomes highest credit rating enterprise of China Customs, and it is the best prize for years of all our endeavors in international trade business. From now on, JCHX is entitled to most preferential policies and privileges in custom clearance from China Customs as well as most favorable trade facilitation from CCC(Customs Co-operation Council). On April 14, 2014, Mr. Xiancheng Wang, CEO and Chairman of JCHX, Mr. Jianzhong Zhang, Ms. Li Bian and Mr. Changjun Liu from International Division attended the awarding ceremony in Beijing Bureau of China Customs.
JCHX submitted the formal application of AA Enterprise Qualification to Beijing Customs in June 2013. The standard for AA Enterprise Qualification is very strict, to obtain this qualification the company has to meet various high criteria including total import and export value, import and export declaration error rate, the accounting system, business record, business management status, credibility record etc. In the past 9 months, according to the 35 requirements under 4 categories from China Customs Inspection Group, the International Division of JCHX sorted and improved the internal control system, regulations and procedures concerning international trade, conducted self-inspection from financial, procurement, logistic and inventory aspects, then prepared the application documents. With the support of the leadership and relevant departments, the site visits and inspection by Beijing Customs were completed successfully. In March 2014, JCHX was officially awarded the certificate of AA Enterprise Qualification by Beijing Customs.
According to Management Regulations on Enterprise Classification by Customs of People's Republic of China, China Customs establishes AA, A, B, C, D totally five management categories to evaluate and classify enterprises, based on the conformance status of the enterprises to relevant laws, administrative regulations, customs regulations, incorrupt government policies, and its business management status, customs supervision record, statistic record etc. AA category is the highest level. Enterprises with this qualification are entitled to, besides “Territorially Declaration, Port Clearance”, a series of beneficial and convenient clearance policies including “no check unless necessary”, “nothing to declare”, “effective guarantee and rapid acceptance”, as well as “one-to-one service” in terms of customs affair, which shall not only expedite import and export business, but also significantly reduce the cost of customs clearance.
At present, there are totally more than 26000 import and export enterprises under the management of Beijing Customs, of which only 124 enterprises are awarded with AA Qualification, not to mention most of them are SOEs or large companies with import and export as main business. Therefore it is not easy for JCHX to acquire such qualification, especially considering that its annual total import and export value is only a few million dollars and its main business does not include import and export. During the awarding ceremony, Mr. Xiancheng Wang, Chairman of JCHX expressed his gratitude towards Beijing Customs for their trust and support, he said this is not only a high recognition to us, but also a driven force for the company to further develope, JCHX shall continuously stick to the principle of honor integrity and credibility, keep improving its international trade capability and business management level. He also pointed out that with the expansion of our international market and the construction of our logistic base in Africa, the export of mining equipment, mining software and technology will increase immensely, under this circumstances the preferential policies and privileges for custom clearance with AA Enterprise Qualification will no doubt facilitate JCHX in its future business development.
