On June 3rd the Governor of Diqing Prefecture, Mr. Zhenghong Huang, delegates from National Development & Reform Commission, Industrial & Information Commission, Ministry of Land & Resources, Water Conservancy Bureau, Statistical Bureau, Forestry Bureau and EPA, along with officers from Municipal Government of Shangrila, paid a site visit to Pulang Copper Mine to study the construction of first phase mining and processing project.
The delegation inspected the construction of living quarters and office buildings on site, held meetings to discuss the progress of the project. General Manager of JCHX South and the Project Manager, Mr. Chengzhou Wang introduced the details of project background, features, organizations, construction schedules, management of quality, safety and environmental protection, civilization production, construction methods and equipment etc. The delegation marveled at the advanced construction technique and equipment utilized by JCHX, which were unique in China according to their description.
