Ore dumping chamber for ore passing & crushing system reconstruction works at 1340m sub-level of west ore body in Jinchuan Project was awarded as “Civilized Construction Site of Jinchang City”through the comprehensive evaluation by Jinchang Construction Association of Gansu Province, and chosen as prototype project of Jinchuan Group.
Ore dumping chamber for ore passing & crushing system reconstruction works at 1340m sub-level of west ore body was contracted to JCHX by Jinchuan Group. The ore dumping chamber locates in rail tunnel with big section size, poor ground condition and enormous risks of roof collapse. In face of such complex condition, the management conduct a special session to discuss construction methods, and in the process of works, technicians should fully communicate and cooperate with PIC for each shift regarding the requirements of different operations, meanwhile ensure the works being done according to certain standards, maintain a tidy and organized working environment, as well as complete working records. Specifically the following methods are taken,
Firstly, make arrangements beforehand, considering the very poor ground condition, JCHX discussed with client prior to the works, taking all necessary measures to prevent side wall collapse, for those big tunnels, U-shaped steel arch, pipe roof, pre-shotcreting, concrete and reinforced concrete support are adopted to strengthen the ground condition and expedite the work schedule.
Secondly, in order to control the formation of tunnel, technicians draft construction drawings, blasting diagrams, blasting hole layouts and floor map, section drawings etc, gave instructions and supervision to site workers during measurements. Meanwhile, propose reasonable blasting plan, well-controlled formation could prevent over-break or underbreak, and accelerate the construction speed.
Thirdly, in terms of site management, materials which could easily be affected with damp, such as cement, quick-setting additive and anchorage agent should stored on the shelf neatly. Materials which are easy to become rusty and corrosive such as reinforced steel, metal meshes, should be hung on the side walls neatly. All equipment, apparatus and tools should be properly cleaned and stored according to different categories.
Fourthly, in order to maintain a clean and civilized working environment, pits, sumps and channels are built to gather water inflow which shall be drained through pumps, thus to keep the ground clean and dry.
