On April 1st JCHX convened Safety Production Meeting during which the safety work in the first quarter was summarized and tasks for second quarter was assigned. Mr. Zhanmin Li, the President of JCHX gave a speech, supervisors from Auditing Dept, Supply Dept, Administration Office and all staff from Safety Dept attended the meeting. Safety managers of all branches, subsidiaries and projects, safety employees under each unit and project managers also participated through internet.
Five requirements were raised during the meeting, firstly enhance the awareness of safety works among all employees, strengthening SHEQ management at all levels and through all processes. Secondly, Fully and scientifically implement standardization works on site. Thirdly, stick to the customized strategies for different projects to ensure each unit combine their own situations to the safety works. Fourthly, prohibit “lateness, omission, false presentation, hidden” in reporting major events, accidents or issues concerning safety production and environmental protection.
Meanwhile, Mr. Zhanmin Li also gave direct instructions which emphasized on four points, the balance between meeting construction schedule and safety production, importance of regular safety inspection, bring error correction for safety inspection and standardization works into the performance evaluation of managers,enhance the sensitiveness to the stability and changes of backfill. Finally he demanded that safety managers from HQ, branches and subsidiaries should frequently and strictly inspect all projects.
