On 14th Oct, Academician from Chinese Academy of Engineering Mr. Desheng Gu, Director of Resources & Safety Engineering School of Central South University Mr. Keping Zhou visited JCHX Paste Backfill Lab under the company of Mr. Huaisheng Peng, President of JCHX.
Mr. Peng firstly introduced the objective and future plan of the laboratory, he mentioned that as a integral mining service provider, JCHX has always sticks to the idea of technological innovation and advancement, invested heavily in scientific & technological research, which including the establishment of paste backfill lab. JCHX wishes to contribute more to the research and development of paste backfill technique through the open-type operation and management of this lab.
Mr. Gu along with other visitors not only listened to the introduction but also watched the video which demonstrates the whole process of paste backfill experiment, then he communicated with technicians concerning the functions, equipment, processes and control methods during the experiment. Finally Mr. Gu highly recommended JCHX on the establishment of this lab, he said as a key technique in deep mining, there is still a big space to develop regarding to backfill technology, he appreciates that JCHX could understand the future trends in mining and seize the opportunity to invest huge funds to build this fully equipped laboratory, which not only represents the forward-looking attitude and also the big vision of JCHX to contribute more to the mining industry of China.
The lab was completed and commissioned in June 2016. Currently it undertakes several key scientific & technological research programs such as “Green Disposal Technique & Equipment Development of Solid Waste from Metallurgical Mines”for Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, and research project concerning paste backfill technique under the national 13th five-year plan.
