In late April 2017, Capital Works at Jinfeng Gold Mine is commenced which represents the completion of mobilization stage and exciting start of works.
The works for Jinfeng Gold Mine include two parts, being Rongban Capital Works and Huangchanggou Ventilation Shaft. Rongban Capital Works is located in the new section of Jinfeng Gold Mine which is required to be completed before 31 March 2018; Huangchanggou Ventilation Shaft forms part of the underground ventilation system of Jinfeng Gold Mine, including downcast ventilation shaft, west ventilation shaft and east ventilation shaft. The total quantity of work is merely 1125.6m but divided into 12 different sections, the necessity of frequent assembly and dis-assembly of equipment, change of locations and target of completion before 30 Sept 2019 all pose great challenges. In addition, Guizhou Jinfeng Mining Company is well-known for international management method with high standard and strict policies, a lot of unexpected difficulties were faced during mobilization stage. Despite of the above mentioned challenges, the mobilization works were completed under the tremendous support from the client and leaderships of JCHX.
At the early stage of site establishment, all management staff of JCHX attached great importance and provided strong support to the works from both labor arrangement and equipment distribution, an EBZ260H drilling jumbo was dispatched to deal with the very complex geological condition, and the machine currently is running well.
All crews are confident in completing the capital works and ventilation shaft within time schedule and to the satisfaction of client.
