Pulang Project is equipped with world-class machinery. The efficiency maximization of mechanical operations and continuous reduction of cost is the key to testing the company's major decision-making and Project work. The comparison of the main indexes of mechanized operations over the past years indicates a gratifying answer sheet of the project.
Since breaking ground in the beginning of the September 16, 2014, total sum contracting model strictly applied to labor, materials and spare parts of Boomer281, through statistical analysis for recent three years, has achieved better results both in terms of the equipment operating indicators and the maintenance conditions. Considering that the Pulang Project is located in the alpine and cold area, taking this labor and equipment efficiency reduction factor into consideration, the advance target in the initial agreement for each machine is 240m per month. Through meticulous organization of the project,and lean operation of the machine, the overall progress of Boomer281 drilling jumbo in 2015 maintained 280m/month/unit, a 17% surplus efficiency higher than the initial agreement index, among which the No.2 machine reaches the high yield of 371m/month.
In order to earnestly carry out the major decision on mechanized advancement by the company, and achieve the genuine increase in efficiency and reduction in cost, in August 2017, under the South Branch’s specific guidance and the joint efforts of the project, thanks to a factual accounting of the manual, mechanical work, adjustment of contracting indicators, optimization of contracting agreement, streamlining the sequence cycle, and improvement of the organizational model, the progress index of the machine rose from 240m/month/unit to 450m/month/machine. The efficiency improvement increased by over 88% compared to the initial agreement, and labor, material, and spare parts, etc. have been reduced, which thus improved the benefits of mechanization.
