At the end of April of 2018, exciting news came from Zhaotong Project that 58127 tons of ore production was achieved in April, 22.37% higher than the monthly target; daily ore production at 4# inclined shaft reaching 2326t. Both daily and monthly production broke historical records.
Facing several difficulties and challenges such as stope shift to different levels, high underground temperature, low efficiency of paste self-flow in filling plant, all crew at Zhaotong Project took multiple measures including planning in advance, stress critical works, maintain balance between mining & development works through reasonable planning, strengthen organization, implementing safety assurance and inspections at shift-change etc, to ensure sustainable and balanced production and increase productivity; the shift of main stope to different sub-level on 670m was completed in mid April, which is earlier than scheduled and laid solid foundation for achieving monthly production target. Through several communications with client, stope preparations on 478m commenced on 18th April.
Production during Q1 was quite satisfactory owing to the vigorous implementation of safety production measures, strict training and supervision, efficient execution of corporate rules and regulations, successful cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. The new record in April is tremendously encouraged the team and gained more credit for the reputation of JCHX. It is believed that Zhaotong Project will definitely complete the annual target through continuous and concerted effort by all crew.
